TIME Pedals XPRO 10 - C1 | Pedal Center 53 mm | carbon
The XPRO 10 - C1 pedal is the entry-level model in TIME's XPRO series, with an attractive price-performance ratio. It takes the carbon composite pedal body of the top models and adds a hollow steel axle, which makes it stable and light at the same time. There is also a choice of three different axle lengths (pedal centre). In conjunction with the ICLIC system and the corresponding cleats, as well as the low engagement height, the ergonomically correct position can be adjusted better than ever before. Of course, the engagement tension can also be adjusted in three positions. The result: a low weight of 113g per pedal.
PEDAL CENTER
TIME offers you different axle lengths for your XPRO models, so you can choose your pedal centre according to your anatomy and preferences. The pedal centre defines the distance between the outer edge of the crank arm and the centre of the pedal. This determines the stance width, i.e. the distance between your feet.
But why is this important? The stance width is the connection point at which you transfer the power from your legs to the crank. It depends very much on the rider, but is crucial for efficient power transfer, comfort and healthy ergonomics. The following axle lengths (pedal centre) are available: 51 mm (narrow), 53 mm (standard), 57 mm (wide).
NOTE: Due to its hollow steel axle, the XPRO 10, unlike the 12 models, is not limited to a maximum rider weight of 90 kg and is therefore also suitable for heavier riders.
