The introduction of hydraulic road disc brakes in the Dura Ace lineup brings more control and confident braking, particularly in wet and unpredictable weather conditions. The hoods of the hydraulic levers are designed to incorporate the hydraulic reservoir, and provide an ergonomic hand position similar to the mechanical brake hoods riders might be already familiar with (ie ST-9100/50). Lever position is customizable to enable precise position selection. This set comes complete with everything you need for a front hydraulic disc brake setup with mechanical shifting, including lever, shifter cable, brake caliper, brake housing and brake pads.
