Built for demanding trails, the Specialized Men's Traction Short in Black combines lightweight performance with durable construction. Developed with input from Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles, these mountain bike shorts feature abrasion-resistant, four-way stretch fabric designed to support freedom of movement on challenging rides.
Weighing just 168 gsm, the fabric is 59 grams lighter than the previous version. Fast-drying yarns and laser-perforated vents help manage moisture and promote airflow, while the curved waistband and snap closure provide a secure fit. Multiple pockets keep essential items close at hand, and a bonded hem reduces bulk and weight.
Made with recycled polyester in the main fabric, the Traction Short also includes an iron-on repair patch kit for quick fixes on the go.
