Silca's Ultimate TPU Tube is both light and compact enough to be a handy spare and fast enough to offer a serious alternative to tubeless setup. Made from Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), it's strong, reliable and constructed to avoid the failures common to other TPU tubes.

Half the weight and size of butyl tubes, it will not only pack easily into your jersey or saddle bag, but clear TPU construction increases its strength and reduces its rolling resistance, compared with other TPU tubes, for maximum durability and efficiency, making it a worthy alternative to tubeless setups. As well, both the tube and its aluminium valve are resistant to the heat buildup, helping to ensure great longevity.

Made in Germany, it includes a secure, patented mechanical valve connection, bonded so that it won't pull out after repeated installs, a threaded valve with locking nut for a secure connection, giving confidence when inflating on the fly, and a removable valve core that's flexible for deep rim setups.

Its threaded aluminium valve is designed to be continuously pumped to the desired pressure with a floor or hand pump, or inflated in 15 PSI steps, in the case of modern electric pumps, such as Silca's Elettrico, to maintain the temperature within a safe range.
