The Oakley DRT5 Maven MTB Helmet in Satin Black is engineered for riders who demand confidence, comfort and performance when the trail gets tough.

Redesigned from the ground up, the DRT5 Maven combines protective coverage with increased ventilation, a fully adjustable fit and a streamlined low-profile shell. Oakley's expertise in optics is also built into the design, with dedicated features for integrating and storing compatible eyewear and goggles.

Featuring MIPS® protection, a BOA® 360° fit system, 19 ventilation ports and a four-point adjustable visor, the DRT5 Maven is built for aggressive trail, enduro and all-mountain riding.

MIPS® Protection

The DRT5 Maven incorporates a helmet-integrated MIPS® low-friction layer, designed to help reduce rotational motion that can otherwise be transmitted to the brain during certain impacts.

This additional protection makes the DRT5 Maven a strong choice for riders tackling technical terrain and demanding trail conditions.

BOA® 360° Fit System

The BOA® 360° fit system uses an adjustable dial to provide a secure, personalised fit.

The precise adjustment helps keep the helmet stable and comfortable while riding rough trails, climbing technical sections or descending at speed.

19-Vent Cooling System

With 19 vents, including redesigned front and top ventilation ports, the DRT5 Maven delivers increased airflow and breathability.

The enhanced ventilation helps move hot air away from the head, making it particularly useful during hard climbs and warm-weather riding.

Sweat Guard Brow Pad

A Sweat Guard brow pad with silicone gel is designed to collect and divert sweat away from the forehead.

This helps reduce sweat reaching your eyewear and keeps lenses clearer during intense efforts.

Textile padding at the top of the helmet provides additional contact points for improved comfort.

Ionic+™ Antimicrobial Liner

The Ionic+™ antimicrobial liner is sweat-activated and designed to help manage odour and keep the helmet feeling fresher.

This makes the DRT5 Maven well suited to regular trail use and long riding sessions.

Integrated Eyewear Storage

The DRT5 Maven features dedicated eyewear storage designed around Oakley's performance eyewear.

Front vents incorporate Unobtainium® grippers to help hold compatible sunglasses securely in place, while a secondary eyewear landing zone at the rear of the helmet provides additional storage.

The four-point adjustable visor also provides a convenient location to store compatible eyewear and goggles when they're not being worn.

The helmet is specifically designed with the Oakley Airbrake MTB goggle in mind for a seamless helmet-and-goggle setup.

Lightweight Performance

The DRT5 Maven is 60 grams lighter than the previous DRT5, delivering a lighter feel while maintaining the protective coverage and features needed for aggressive mountain biking.

Its redesigned shell provides a clean, low-profile appearance in Satin Black.
