The Pinarello Grevil F9 Red AXS 1x13 in Atlas Sun Matt is a high-performance gravel race bike engineered for speed, aerodynamic efficiency, rigidity and off-road versatility. Built around a Toray T900 UD carbon frame and equipped with the premium SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1x13 drivetrain, the Grevil F9 is designed to perform across fast gravel courses and varied terrain.
The GREVIL F platform is designed to accommodate different wheel and tyre combinations, giving riders the flexibility to adapt the bike to different gravel conditions and riding requirements.
Aerodynamic Gravel Performance
Pinarello's approach to gravel racing recognizes that aerodynamics remain important even when riding off road. The Grevil F combines aerodynamic frame shaping with a stiff, competition-focused carbon construction.
The ForkFlap™ stabilizes airflow around the front end to improve aerodynamic penetration, while the Flat Back Profile, derived from the DOGMA platform, is designed to reduce aerodynamic drag around the frame tubes, particularly when bottles are installed.
The TiCR system integrates the cables through the cockpit and frame, helping improve aerodynamic performance while also providing greater practicality when loading bike bags.
Gravel-Optimized Geometry
The Grevil F uses dedicated gravel geometry designed to provide consistent handling across different frame sizes. Compared with a traditional road bike, the shorter reach and higher stack create a more comfortable riding position while maintaining responsive handling.
An increased seat tube angle provides greater wheel clearance, while the modified fork angle and rake are designed to improve handling and riding comfort. Chainstays measure between 422–425mm, balancing responsiveness and comfort and allowing compatibility with both 700c and 650b wheels.
Twin Arms
The Twin Arms design is engineered to balance power transfer and vibration absorption. The right chainstay and seatstay are rotated to create symmetrical rear triangles and a more uniform response to pedalling forces.
Different seatstay connection points allow the seat tube to absorb impacts from the rear wheel more uniformly, helping deliver a balanced ride over rough gravel surfaces.
T900 UD Carbon
The Grevil F9 uses Toray T900 UD carbon, selected to balance reactivity, damping characteristics and low weight for competition-focused gravel riding.
SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1x13
The Grevil F9 is equipped with SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1x13, including the Red XPLR AXS 1x13 crankset, cassette and SRAM Red chain. SRAM Red hydraulic disc brakes use 160mm rotors front and rear.
A DT Swiss GRC 1400 50DB wheelset is paired with Vittoria Terreno T50 45 tyres, creating a performance-focused gravel wheel and tyre combination.
